4 red heart buttons with thread to match
1/4 yard red print fabric with thread to match
1/4 yard yellow print fabric with thread to match
1/4 yard fusible web
Red embroidery floss

Instructions:
Print your favorite photos (8 needed) on sheets of Quick
Fuse™ following directions on package. Make sure
desired image will fit within the circle template before
printing. You may wish to test print on paper to check
size before printing on Quick Fuse™. Trace circle
template over desired image on Quick Fuse™ and
cut out.
Trace flower shape templates (2 small, 1 large) on fusible
web. Fuse flower shapes onto yellow fabric and cut out.
Following layout of jacket photo, fuse flowers in place. Trace heart templates (2 large, 3 small) on to fusible
web. Fuse heart shapes on to red fabric and cut out.
Fuse hearts on to jacket following layout pictured. Place printed and trimmed Quick Fuse™ images on
centers of flowers and hearts. Fuse in place. Top stitch all fused fabric and Quick Fuse™ pieces
using a zig-zag or button hole stitch. Pin Chenille short cuts yellow strips around edges of
flower. Sew in place over chenille stitched line. Back
tack all ends to secure. Pin Chenille short cuts red strips in place around edges
of heart shapes. Sew in place over chenille stitched
line. Back tack all ends to secure. Following layout of jacket photo, pin Chenille short
cuts green strips in place to make stems and leaves.
Sew in place over chenille stitched line. Back tack all
ends to secure. Mist all chenille with water using a spray bottle. Brush
with June Tailor’s® Chenille Fluffing Brush™. Embroider “Gran’s Sweethearts” in
red and yellow using three strands of embroidery floss.
Embellish with heart buttons. To increase the fluff of chenille, launder and tumble
dry finished project. Re-fluff with Fluffing Brush™.
