Fringe Cut™ Boa


Materials:

1/2 yd. Solid primary color fleece fabric
1/4 yd. Solid contrasting color fleece fabric
June Tailor® Fringe Cut™ Slotted Ruler
Rotary cutter
Rotary Cutting Mat
Thread to match


Instructions:

Cut primary color fleece fabric to measure 14” by width of fabric.

Cut contrasting color fleece fabric to measure 7” by width of fabric.

Fold contrast fabric in half, right sides together to measure 3 1/2” by fabric width.

Accordion fold primary color fleece to measure 3 1/2” by width of fabric.

Place contrasting color fleece fabric between layers of accordion folded primary color fleece, overlapping 1/2” (see illustration).

Sew through all layers using a zig-zag or double stitch

Using Fringe Cut™ Slotted Ruler, rotary cutter and cutting mat, cut each of the three layers individually at 1/2” increments from outside folded edge to center seam, stopping just short of stitching.

Twist each loop to bring the inside to the outside.
