Scallop Layered Blanket

Materials:
June Tailor® Scallops Ruler
1-3/4 yds. Orange Fleece (or choice of color)
1-1/4 yds. Pink Fleece (or choice of color)

Instructions:
Cut orange fleece to measure 63” x 48”. Using the June Tailor Scallops Ruler, mark scallop edge of blanket as follows. Measure and mark 1-1/2” from edge of fleece fabric at corner. Place straight edge of Scallops Ruler on marking and large scallops toward edge of fabric. Mark scallops. Complete marking across entire edge of fleece. At corner, rotate ruler 45° and mark along next edge. Continue marking until all four sides are complete. Cut out on markings.
Cut pink fleece to measure 37” x 52”. Using the June Tailor Scallops Ruler, mark scallop edge of blanket as follows. Measure and mark 1/2” from edge of fleece fabric at corner. Place straight edge of Scallops Ruler on marking and small scallops toward edge of fabric. Mark scallops. Complete marking across entire edge of fleece. At corner, rotate ruler 45° and mark along next edge. Continue marking until all four sides are complete. Cut out on markings.
Center pink fleece on orange fleece. Pin together. Mark a rectangle stitching line on the pink fleece. Stitch layers of fleece together to complete. |
