Rail Fence Wall or Crib Quilt

Finished size: Approximately 36" x 36"

Materials:
June Tailor® Shape Cut™ Pro Ruler
15 Assorted fabrics; full widths required
1/2 yd. fabric for border
1/3 yd. binding fabric
June Tailor® Quilter's Fusible Batting

Cutting:

From 15 assorted fabrics, cut fifteen (15) 2-1/2" x 42" strips.

From border fabric cut, four (4) 3-1/2" x 42" strips.

From binding fabric, cut four (4) 2-1/2" x 42" strips.

Instructions:

Use 1/4" seam allowances throughout.

Create a strip set by sewing five (5) 2-1/2" strips together lengthwise. Press seams to one side. Finished strip set should measure 10-1/2" x 42". Sub-cut strip set into four (4) 10-1/2" squares.

Repeat for remaining tem (10) 2-1/2" x 42" strips.

Using nine (9) of the 10-1/2" blocks, arrange in three 3-block strips in a basket weave pattern, alternating the direction of the blocks as pictured.

Sew blocks together to form rows. Sew rows together to form quilt center.

Sew borders to top and bottom, then to sides.

Layer, quilt and bind.
