Our pressing surfaces
are made of 100% preshrunk cotton. The gridlines are applied to
the pressing surface during a screen-printing process. The fabric
is then sewn or secured to its stabilizing surface. Throughout this
production process we maintain strict quality guidelines and will
not allow any pressing surfaces that are distorted or inaccurate
to pass a quality inspection.
Over time, especially with use with a steam iron, the cotton has
the possibility to shrink or grow. The changes should be minimal
and should not significantly affect the use of the product. However,
we recommend using your pressing surface as a guideline only and
use your ruler or cutting mat for more precise measuring. It is
helpful to avoid using excessive body pressure on your pressing
surface. This will help to eliminate the stretching of the cotton
fabric.
