What if red is still
present on my stitches after my quilt has been rinsed?
Back To Questions |
|
|

|
The red color that remains is actually
the Stitch’n Wash™ trapped under the stitches. The red
color has not dyed your fabric or your thread; rather small pieces
of the fusible are stuck under the stitches. This can happen when
stitching is very accurate, tight or close together. To remove this
color, we recommend using a very soft toothbrush or a jewelry brush
to gently lift the stitches helping to free the trapped fusible.
It may take some time to work, so patience is a must. To avoid this
in future projects, we suggest that you stitch just inside or outside
of the red lines to prevent it from becoming trapped. |
